By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.

3. Information, not medical advice

Everything on this website is general information. It isn’t medical advice, and it doesn’t replace a consultation with a doctor. Please don’t use it to diagnose or treat yourself. If you’re worried about your health, book an appointment or speak to your GP.

4. In an emergency

If you think you have a medical emergency, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E. Please don’t use this website, a contact form or email for urgent medical problems.

5. No doctor-patient relationship online

Using this website, sending an enquiry or reading our articles doesn’t create a doctor-patient relationship. That begins only when you’ve been seen by one of our clinicians.

6. Enquiries and bookings

When you book a consultation or send an enquiry, please give accurate details. Appointment availability, fees and clinicians can change. Our booking confirmation, fee information and cancellation terms apply to each booking. We’ll look after your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Our clinicians and regulation

Professor Prasanna Sooriakumaran is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC number 4645940). Care Quality Commission (CQC) registrations are held at the different locations where care is provided. You can find details of each location through that location’s own page or by contacting us.

8. Accuracy of content

We take care to keep this website accurate and up to date, and our medical content is reviewed by our clinicians. Medicine changes quickly, so we can’t promise that everything is complete or current at all times. Results and experiences differ from patient to patient.

9. Our intellectual property

The content on this website, including text, images, video, logos and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You may not copy, republish, sell or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

This website may link to other sites, such as Doctify, PubMed or hospital websites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.
